I was given a mug of coffee; I remember pouring it into my own lap, running upstairs into my bedroom and straight through the window. I awoke in hospital with a policeman asking me questions. I then lost consciousness again for about 10 days. Eventually I woke up to discover I’d broken my neck. I’ve been a quadriplegic ever since. Life carried on; apart from readjusting to life as a quad, it took a few years to get over that bad trip in terms of the feeling that “it’s too late” but with the discovery of global warming and increased general consciousness of the issue, I’m getting flashbacks.

No joke. OK - so I'm not getting actual flashbacks but the emotions I feel, when I keep hearing scientific reports about the runaway nature of global warming, takes me right back to that trip and the feeling, its too late. Maybe I'm on the wrong site.
